Myles Munroe, wife and daughter dies in a plane crash

Prolific best selling author and internationally renowned motivational speaker, Myles Munroe died last night (Nigeria time) along with his wife, Ruth Ann Munroe and daughter Charisa in a plane crash in the Bahamas.
 
The crash which also claimed the lives of several people happened on Sunday afternoon (midnight Nigeria time) the Bahamian Aviation Ministry confirmed.  The plane, a Lear 36 executive departed the Lynden Piddling International Airport (LPIA) in Nassau, Bahamas at 4.07pm for the Grand Bahamas International Airport in Freeport, Bahamas with nine people on board.
 

The plane crashed while making an approach for landing at the Grand Bahamas International Airport at about 5.10pm.  The crash killed all nine people on board the private jet.
 
Dr. Munroe and the others were on their way to attend the 2014 Global Leadership Forum which is to start November 10.
 
He was the senior pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries International Fellowship, while his wife, Ruth Ann Munroe served as co-senior pastor.
 
They left behind a son Chairo Myles Munroe (Jr.).
