Amazing Before and After Photographs of Transgender Men and Women in Cuba

The photographer, Claudia Gongalez was born in Chile and raised in Europe.  She shot the photos with the hope of highlighting the discrimination LBGTs are daily subjected to in Cuba.

Mrs. Gonzalez did not share the identities of these men and women who chose at what stage of their transition they wanted to be photographed.

Cuba has a troubling history in regards to their LBGT community with hate crimes still a regular occurrence.
