The Chief Global Operation officer of Al-Qaeda has been killed

Adnan el Shukrijumah, an Al-Qaeda leader who was also the sect's chief of global operations was this morning killed during a raid in Pakistan.  He was also accused of plotting to bomb the London Underground and the New York Metro.
 
The terrorist who was found hiding in a compound after fleeing from a north Waziristan district was killed by the Pakistani army in a successful operation.  He is the same person indicted in the US stated a senior Pakistani army officer.
 

 
Shukrijumah had lived in the US for fifteen years.  He was also accused of trying to commit terrorist acts in London and Norway.
 
He took over the position of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the September 11 World Trade Centre attacks after his capture in 2003.
 
He was found to be a student of a community college in Florida but discovered to have left when police came for his arrest.
