Tragedy has struck The Biggest Loser family.
Damien Gurganious, who was part of the season 7 reality show is dead. He died after suffering from a sudden onset of a rare autoimmune disorder that made him to bleed in the brain. He was 38 years old.
His family say, ''he was a pillar of his family, an amazing son, brother, cousin and uncle. ''He was an incredible husband and father to his 2-year old daughter, Gisele. He was an inspiration and a mentor to so many. His love for his family was immense.''

His wife Nicole Brewer paid tribute to him on her facebook page saying, "As most of you know,
I never post on social media. So, it is highly ironic and deeply sad that my
first true post is to inform you of the tragic loss of my beloved husband,
Damien Gurganious," she wrote on the private page.
"Damien suffered from
the sudden onset of a rare autoimmune disorder, Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic
Purpura (ITP), which caused inoperable bleeding in his brain. Damien passed
away on Monday, November 24, 2014."
Damien and Nicole who were engaged at the time they both competed on The Biggest Loser, finally tied the knot in August 2009 at the Renaissance Astoria in Queens, New York.
