You are not a good leader - Chrostopher Kolade tells President Jonathan

This is really not a good time for President Jonathan.  Everybody seem to be dishing him.

Dr. Christopher Kolade, a former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom yesterday at the sixth Christopher Kolade Symposium organised by the Nigeria Leadership Initiative, said President Goodluck Jonathan has not shown the right leadership in the manner he has been handling his responsibilities as the leader of Nigeria.

He specifically mentioned the rally which Jonathan went on to attend shortly after a bomb blast killed many people in Kano State.  He said with that singular action, President Jonathan showed insensitiveness to the pains of his people.

He also lambasted those who are saying the country ''had never been this good''.  He said they were lying, that ''Nigerian was at every other time better than now.''

On the quality of leadership he said, ''If we get to a point where we do not care how the country is led, we have lost hope.  The country is where it is today because some people sacrificed.  Unfortunately, beyond stealing, our leaders are not ready to sacrifice anything.''

He also mentioned that Nigerians were not happy with the leadership style and the manner the public institutions were being operated.
