While delivering his victory speech, the declared winner of the governorship primaries of the All Progressive Congress for Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode said his victory was a testimony of his overall mass appeal.
He said he is the only governorship aspirant who paid visits to all the 20 local government councils of the state to consult with the people at the grassroots.
Ambode who also congratulated all other aspirants called on all to join hands to move Lagos State forward.
Akinwunmi Ambode, 51, a former Accountant General of Lagos State won the APC governorship primaries with a landslide of 3735 votes beating the current Commissioner for Works, Obafemi Hamzat to a distant second position with 1,201 votes.
