Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh to be immortalised by family

The family of the late Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist, Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh has concluded plans to immortalize her.

A spokes person for the family, Kwami Adadevoh announced yesterday through his twitter handle that the family has decided to keep her memory alive by establishing a health trust in her name.  He said the initiative will be called ''Dr. Stella Ameyo Adadevoh Health Trust.''

Writing on his twitter handle, Kwami said  “You (Adadevoh) would have been 58 today. We could never forget you, even if we tried. Thank you for the privilege of knowing you. The Health trust has been set up to both immortalise your name and continue your legacy of enhancing health care delivery.”

Another NGO, ''Nurture my Future'' centred on provision of educational opportunities for the poor has also promised to keep her memory alive by instituting a scholarship fund ''Ameyo Adadevoh Scholaship Fund Scheme'' in her name.  Under the scheme, scholarships will be awarded to children of exceptional intelligence annually every 27th October.
