Singer Kelly Rowland, 33, has lost her mum to the cold hands of death barely one month after welcoming her son.
Doris Rowland Garrison died at the age of 66 years only few weeks after welcoming Kelly's first son Titan Jewell Weatherspoon.
In a statement, Kelly described her mother as an incredible soul who made countless sacrifices. And that she would have been 67 years December 6, few days from the day she died.

Doris raised Kelly and her brother Orlando exclusively after she devoiced their father in 1988. She relocated the family from Atlanta to Houston.
By 1992, with Kelly just 11 years the girls group Girl's Tyme with Beyoncé and Latavia Roberson was formed. The group later went up to become Destiny Child.
She passed away in her home town of Atlanta. No cause of death was however given by the family.
