Woman attacked by dozens of men for wearing a "mini skirt'' in Nairobi sparks protest

Thousands of people took to the streets of Nairobi today to protest series of assaults on women accused of wearing mini skirts or ''immodest dressing.''

A young lady who was recently attacked by several young men who accused her of tempting them with her immodest dressing, saw the men tearing off her clothes and kicking her on her genitals.

One of the organizers of the protest #MyDressMyChoice said she can count up to ten such attacks in recent times.

 



 

The Nairobi attack which happened on a busy street in broad day light have sparked outrage throughout the country. Deputy President Ruto called the attack barbaric while police have appealed to the victim to come out.
